This year marked the 3rd year of Ink the Bay in Tampa Florida. The convention was held at the Florida State Fairgrounds from March 24th - 26th. Legendary LTD represented at the three day event.
The show was on a smaller scale than the Villain Arts Tampa Convention that is held every year in Fall, but still drew in artists from all over the country. We were lucky enough to be neighbors with Artists from Ocean Isle North Carolina. Their shop The Salty Sailor Tattoo is run by a husband and wife duo ... really cool people!
Among tattooing, the convention offered live entertainment with live music, aerialist show, pinup contest, fashion shows and more. There were workshops for different art mediums like pottery, glass blowing, airbrush and pinstriping. They also had fun for the whole family, with bounce houses and face painting for the kiddos outside. With a variety of food vendors to choose from too, you never had to leave the fairgrounds.
Legendary LTD offered custom tees on the spot. We were able to do this with our portable heat press machine and had made to order products for customers at the event. This was our first time offering this service, alongside our ready-to-wear products on display. It was a hit and something we will offer at future conventions/ shows
All in all, it was a great spot to network with like minded entrepreneurs as we made some great contacts over the weekend!
